Harvard and Stanford, world’s best universities

The Shanghai Jiao Tong University of China has published, for fifth consecutive year, the ranking with the 500 World’s Best Universities.

The United States dominates the classification between 100 better universities, because 54 are American, 31 Europeans and 9 of the Asia Pacific Zone. Only in the Top Ten of the ranking appear 8 North American and 2 English universities (Cambridge in the fourth position and Oxford in the tenth position).

Harvard University repeats for fifth year in the head of the ranking, followed by Stanford, Berkeley, Cambridge and MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).

We have to go to the range between the 151 to 202 places to found the University of Barcelona, the first Spanish university listed. The Autónoma University and the Complutense of Madrid, and the University of Valencia are placed on the same level , between 203 to 304 places.
